Vaclav Vetvicka

Vaclav Vetvicka,
Ph.D., is a Professor of Pathology at the Department of Pathology of the
University of  Louisville in Louisville,
Kentucky. Dr. Vetvicka graduated from Charles University in Prague, Czech
Republic with an advanced degree in biology and obtained his Ph.D. from the
Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences. His postgraduate training included a stay at
the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City, OK, and Institute of
Microbiology, Prague, Czech Republic. Dr. Vetvicka is author and co-author of
more than 250 peer-reviewed publication and 8 books. He serves on editorial
boards of three international journals and on grant study sections of American,
Armenian and Czech grant agencies. Dr. Vetvicka is a member of editorial board
of 16 journals.
